I made Aubrey a summer hat. I have been looking for a cute summer hat pattern for a while and finally found one! This was a fun project to make. Actually, I made and finished this hat a month ago, but haven't had a chance to blog about it yet. I got the pattern and idea from here and modified it a little bit. I didn't have the same yarn guage as the pattern wanted, so I had to tweak some stitches count to make it the size I needed. It took me about 5 tries to get the right measurements. It was a pain to be halfway and then undo the whole thing to start at the very beginning again. But in the end, I was very satisfied at how it turned out and my accomplishment. Aubrey loves it too! I plan to make a few more for my other nieces.
I plan to make this hat pattern again with the right yarn and guage without having to modify the pattern. I think this is a really pretty summer hat... definitely a darling summer hat.
Anyway, here is the hat I made for Aubrey. Looks pretty cute on her :)
